We offer a well appointed bridal suite just steps away to our special ceremony space lined with ancient live oak trees, moss and situated on the marsh. Parade down to the north dock with your wedding party for cocktails, drinks and hors d’oevres on the water.

We just hosted our second corporate event at the Daniel Island Yacht Club, and they were both very successful.

The first event was a luncheon in June combined with a team meeting for 65 people followed by a happy hour. For this event we used Rosemary and Rye Caterers. Everything went off without a hitch, and our group just loved the location, the Club and the views!

Our second event was a last-minute corporate dinner for some out-of-town executives as well as our local employees. Gray and Patrick were able to accommodate us with just over a week’s notice, and it was amazing! For this event we used the in-house catering for a buffet dinner. It was relaxed evening with everyone enjoying the 2nd floor porch views for a drink and appetizers followed by dinner in the dining room.

The Club is beautifully decorated, and well suited for many different events. Gray and Patrick are amazing to work with, and we will definitely be back again!

We hosted a party for about 50 people at the Daniel Island Yacht Club and it was an outstanding venue. Patrick and Gray made the planning so easy and fun and the outcome was perfect. We had passed hors d’oeuvres and food stations and everything was excellent! The location is beautifully decorated and creates a warm and inviting ambience for a party. The parking is easy. We recently had my daughter’s wedding at the Daniel Island Yacht Club. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. We started the day getting ready at the club, taking pictures on the grounds, wedding on the dock, and then cocktails and reception at the venue. From the first time I stepped foot in DIYC, I was in awe of the intricate details of the venue. They do “nautical” and “coastal” in a gorgeous way, using the most beautiful finishes throughout the venue. We were able to customize our wedding day using all of the venue’s different unique elements: the Grove as a ceremony space, the dock as a cocktail hour space, the upstairs of the club as our dinner location, and downstairs for dancing. We also utilized its waterfront location to have boat transportation to and from downtown. None of our guests had ever been to a venue or a wedding like this and that’s exactly what we wanted, to give guests an unforgettable experience from start to finish. All the different spaces have their own unique feel that keeps guests excited, entertained, and wondering what beauty comes next. It has the perfect Lowcountry charm. Thanks to Patrick, Gray, and the DIYC team for working hard for us during the whole wedding planning process and delivering a beautiful day!

Yes. A professional wedding planner is required for all weddings and rehearsal dinners to ensure a seamless event experience.

Yes. We offer both in-house catering and beverage services for your event.

We are an event venue that is open to the public.  We do not have a private membership

Yes. Tours are available by appointment only from Tuesday -Thursday 11am-3pm. Please call (843) 471-1881 to schedule a visit.

Yes. We offer ample onsite parking for guests and vendors.

Yes. We offer a dedicated ceremony location known as The Grove.

Yes. Our dock is available for cocktail hours and may be reserved for up to one hour.

Our venue accommodates:

  • Up to 100 guests for a seated dinner indoors
  • An additional 50 guests on the porch (seasonal)
  • Up to 200 guests for a standing reception (Full Club)

Typically brides extend the time frame to a 5th hour of rental. The venue cost is prorated.

We have a bridal suite on site that is available to rent 4 hours prior to the ceremony. The suite entrance leads out to the Grove ceremony site across the street. The groom/groomsmen normally get ready off site.

Your planner and vendors will have access 4 hours prior to the Ceremony. Breakdown isallowed for up to one hour after the event.

We do require a planner/coordinator. We are happy to make referrals of people we enjoy working with and you are also welcome to hire your own coordinator. We simply ask that you have a professional so that you can enjoy your special day without any concerns.

We recommend hiring a dance floor for special lighting and effects but it is not required. The floor in the dance area in the Rowdy bar is hardwood.
